i tend to agree with you. tim & eric are obviously less concerned with satirizing political, social & religious conventions than our boys of showzen were/are. as such the show wallows in itself with no real grounding of viewpoint to mangle, manipulate, emasculate and embalm as showzen.. it gets too arbitrarily weird with no intention to anchor the premises... with showzen i always felt like 'this is consciousness revolution rebelling abandoning outmoded linear consumerist fairy tales.. it was (to be crazy emphatic) the dawning of a new world order, complete with its own chaos creed (within the confine of socioconscious observation, there are endless ridiculous puzzles and social atrocities/ paradoxes to point out through an exxagerated medium of absurdity to send u a jump start jolt to everyones comatose mental scrotums.... give them sensation and remind them of the immense darkness that shades those with power in our society)... tim & eric holds no relevance beyond a sometimes hypnotic aesthetic quality of psychotic confusion with no metaphor back to a firm grounding in actually knowing about shit.... refusing to recognize anything but its own ruminous rump, its missing out on a whole world to digest and recapitulate in terrorist psychedelia frenzieeeee. showzen are conscious of the dogmatic dupes of previous paradigms' and use it as a compost pile fertilize furnace in which to cook up their response in all its limitless glory.
hail showzen! accept no cleverly scheduled to pick up after showzen got dropped imitators! tim & eric are talented chaps but we need another couple rounds with the inner child guided by our lovable sub normal hump to understand "why we all here on earth, man"
