    Xavier: Renegade Angel

New show from PFFR on Cartoon Network.  Anyone catch the first episode of this last night?  All I can say after watching this... to be honest I have no idea what to say. It's clear that Lee and Chatman are keeping their trademark style of twisted symbolism and convoluted wordplay. It was ten times more absurd and avant-garde than most episodes of WS.  I'm really interested to see what they have in store for this show.

Check it out for yourself, you can watch it at www.adultswim.com

i made the mistake of watching it for the first time whilst very drunk and jetlagged and there was too much going on for me to really get into it. when i watched it with a clear head in the morning it made alot more sense and i actually thought it was really funny. i reckon it'll be a hit on adult swim.

check out the PFFR myspace page that i run for them: www.myspace.com/pffrbooms. also, www.pffr.net is back up and running. hurrah!

    later, chompski honk

Ah, thats you running that site. Nice, yea i caught the episode like 9 minutes in and i had no fucking clue what was going on. Ill have to watch it again. The voice acting didnt seem as good as WS, but thats ok. Hopefully when i watch it again ill be able to decipher it better

    Re: Xavier: Renegade Angel

Just discovered this show in the last few days and had a similar "what the F?!" reaction at first, but after a second viewing of the first episode and having now seen the first three, I'm almost as in love with it as Wonder Showzen itself! I hear they've started work on a 2cnd series already, not sure if that's true but I hope so, though the downside is it makes a 3rd series of Wonder Showzen ever more unlikely.
