If they cut out parts of Hobo OPS, I've got no reason to buy the DVD.  It's one of my favorite bits.

They just cut out the last second. They didn't edit the hell out of it. The flag burning in the tear was cut out. That's all.

I can't imagine why though.  On the DVD, they have the opportunity to put fucked up shit that couldn't make it to air into the original episodes-they shouldn't be making edits.

Episode 3 is the most changed episode on the DVDs:

-The Charity Bit is uncensored, I thought it was funnier censored.
-The Missing H.O.B.O.O.P.S. bit. I think they cut it out because it referenced an upcoming COMMERCIAL. I know they didn't do that with the other episodes - my theory is that somebody cut it early on not realizing that they didnt want to cut stuff like that.
-The CENSORED bar when Clarence gives the old man fake-head. It sucks now, becasue THAT censored bar set up the joke of them adding the censored bar to the irrate old man yelling "KEEP IT AWAY" (which is still in the show on DVD)

The Television version is by far the supperior version of the episode. Its a shame, becuase episode 3 is my favorite Wonder Showzen ever.

Anyone still alive?

I was wondering if this ever got resolved/explained by anyone, pffr or otherwise...
